Intimate Vail Wedding 8/21/2021

When Rebecca reached out to me about photographing her intimate wedding, I was ecstatic. From the way she described her dress, to the ceremony location, I loved everything about it. We enlisted the help of my friend, Valen with BlumenHaus to create the perfect florals for Becca and Beau’s big day. The funny thing is, nobody knew what the flowers would look like until the day of the actual wedding (Rebecca told her the vibe of the day, and told Valen to do whatever).

The actual day was held at Collective Retreats in Vail . This venue held a special place for both Becca and Beau, because it had been their anniversary trip the year before. The entire ceremony location was created with the props from the venue, and an additional two rugs that traveled from Denver to Vail.

Becca got her hair and makeup done in Beaver Creek, and came back to Collective Retreats to put on her one of a kind, custom dress. She had cute little details of the day, including her vows, her hat, perfume, and jewelry. Beau got ready in a separate room, with the helpf of the boys.

Their ceremony was short, sweet and to the point, with the most amazing backdrop as their view. You could feel the emotion dripping from everybody in attendance (me included). My favorite little detail was how Becca’s hat was used to hold the flower petals for the flower girl!
